 8th Grade Class Promotion

Our Promotion Ceremony will be held in the South High Football Stadium on Thursday, June 14th at 4pm. Students should meet at the scoreboard by 3:30pm in their promotion gowns.

Promotion gowns will be distributed to students on Wednesday, June 13th after the class picnic.

CMMS BAND FUNDRAISER – Come have some of the best BBQ in the South Bay at Pinkie’s BBQ on May 15^th.  20% of your purchase will be contributed to the Band Program but you must bring the flyer to get credit.  Pinkie’s is located at 502 Pacific Coast Hwy in Hermosa Beach. 

CALLE MAYOR TALENT SHOW – Permission slips for the Calle Mayor Talent show on June 8^th are in the office.  They are to be returned to Mr. Stavros at your audition either on May 23^rd or May 24^th in Room 8 at 3:15 pm.

SOUTH HIGH COLOR GUARD 2012-2013 – come be part of a great South High legacy.  There will be an informational meeting on Friday, May 11^th by the cafeteria from 3:30 to 5:30pm.  Workshops will be May14th through May 17^th either in the cafeteria or the outside.  Tryouts will be May 18^th.  We have a flag, saber and rifle waiting for you.  Come check it o0ut.  We perform with the band at football games, competitions and will be a wonderful addition to your high school memories.

SOUTH HIGH SUMMER  ATHLETICS – The registration and Information Night will be Wednesday, May 16^th in the South High cafeteria from 6 to 7 pm.  Forms are available in the Calle Mayor School office and on the South High website, www.shs.tusd.org.
